Samsung Tocco Lite Reviews

Samsung Tocco Lite Reviews :->

With the release of Samsung Tocco Lite, the South Korean company has endeavored to make touchscreen technology accessible for the technophiles of each genera. It packs a quickly responsive resistive screen and a decent 3.2 MP snapper. Plentiful memory with the option of expansion and powerful battery are some other bells and whistles, which make it an exciting gadget.

Screen: Resistive yet amazingly responsive

Company has incorporated a 3-inches touchscreen on this compact and pocket-friendly gadget. Albeit, it is based upon the resistive technology, with which we have been normally scorning. But, during our experiment with Samsung Tocco Lite, we experienced a pleasant surprise. We found it impressively responsive without pressing hard with our fingernail or stylus.

Camera: Nice in light with utmost vibrancy

The 3.2-megapixel snapper, disappointingly, lacks flash or LED photo light; hence we found it a bit irritating to take pics in low light. Further, it also emits noise while doing so. But, capturing close-ups and shots in light delighted us. The colors and exposure were also quite satisfactory, if we keep into consideration that it's a budget phone.

Social networking now too close to you

Samsung Tocco Lite also provides the quick links on menu, which enable you in direct access to host of social networking sites such as Facebook, Photobucket, Picasa, Flickr and Friendster. You can upload your pics and video on these sites without any hassle via these links.

Connectivity: A bit disappointing

The screen is good to view the pics, video as well as websites. But, lack of 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity makes the browsing and downloading a bit slow. The USB connection could also not be easily synced with PC. Hence, as per our thinking, it would be better to load media in a microSD card.

Enjoy the magic of music in several audio formats

Samsung Tocco Lite is coming with a home-bred headphone jack as well as plastic ear-buds with hands-free microphone. The jack restricts you in using the headphone of better quality. But, what pleased us was that the handset supports plenty of audio formats and also lets you enjoy the FM radio.

Excellent battery

Lite lacks the 3G and WiFi, hence the battery doesn't drain even after heavy usage. During our review, it lasted for a whole day long.

Verdict

Samsung Tocco Lite offers quite satisfactory specs. Its touchscreen, even after being resistive, is quickly responsive. The quality of calling and texting is also reasonably good. Of course, lack of 3G technology is Achilles’s heal. But, we can forgive this absence considering that it's a budget phone.
