Motorola Fire likely to touch down UK in late September
USA phone maker is likely to roll out its latest mid-range smartphone Motorola Fire in the UK in late September. However, it's still uncertain, whether Motorola Fire and Pro are two different handsets or are the name of just one device.
Disappointingly, Samsung is even till now close-mouthed about the confusion concerning the two names. This aside, it has also not officially announced the exact launch dates and pricing for any smartphone. But, considering the specs of the phone, we're pretty sure that Motorola Pro is now going to break its cover in form of Motorola Fire.
The smartphone has stepped into the US market earlier and now it's visible on the site of Clove UK with the forthcoming launch date. But, Clove is not confident, whether it will be launching the full-touch version of Motorola Fire XT531. May be, other UK retailers could get this privilege.
The Fire will combine a 2.8-inch touchscreen with a full QWERTY keyboard, thus targeting the mid-range mobile-buffs. It also sports a 3MP rear camera along with the powerful 1GHz processor and 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options.
But, the key attraction of the Fire lies in its Android Gingerbread 2.3 OS rather than the MotoBlur along with an excellent battery with 27-hours of standby time, which are unimaginable in the handset of this power and prices.
